Attention is the first capacity

Before judgment leaves the person, attention usually leaves first — and recovery gets harder when a model is always ready.

Area 01 is not a separate brand from Harm or Home agents. It is the inner half of the same story: how people keep attention, emotion, and long-term thinking when AI is always available.

We watch recovery as carefully as we watch use. A mind that can still sit with a hard question without opening a chat is still authoring. A mind that reaches for a model before the question finishes forming is already outsourcing the first draft of judgment.

This observation sits under Thinking and feeds the Judgment channel on the Stress Index. Academy Steps 1 and 2 are where recovery practice will show up as teaching, not as a wellness slogan.
