Brain science and living with AI are one job

We do not split “how minds work” and “how people use AI” into separate brands.

Attention, recovery, and judgment live inside a person who is also scrolling, chatting, hiring agents, and rewriting work. Inner capacity and outer use are the same human story.

Splitting them into separate institutes creates blind spots. Harm research that ignores cognition misses how minds actually work, and cognition research that ignores AI use is studying a world that is already gone.

All six research areas share one job: helping people stay capable in the age of Artificial Intelligence.
